Design: My Podcast

For my final podcast there can be many topics that I can talk about, but it should be about the adolescent life. For me there can be a lot of topics to talk about in the podcast and I can go on about my life for hours but of course there has to be restriction. Some ideas for topics are:
• Friends
• Fashion
• Boys
• A typical day
• Party
• Family

Intended audience: are teenagers, preteens and parents. Teenagers are intended because they can hear about other teenagers that are the same as them or have the same problems as them. For preteens, it is good for them to listen to my podcast because they can get a picture of how teenage life will be like. Not all preteens will have the same life, but they can get an idea or just see how some teens’ life is like. My podcast will probably be more leaning to the rich life side of Mongolia so the rich preteens can listen to it. For parents, they can listen to get advice or ideas of how other kids are like in Mongolia and maybe change their view or maybe change their way they parent their teenager.
To record and publish: I will record my podcast on my phone because it has a very good quality microphone and put it on my computer. After I have edited it and fixed it I will put it on a website called podcastalley.com. There are many sites for podcasts, but I feel that the most easy and comfortable to use.

Outlines:

Friends
• In Mongolia a lot of teenagers smoke and drink.
• In my circle, they all smoke
• I personally have lots of friends
• My circle of friends are close and wont hurt or betray me
• I have long distance friends
• Have not so close friends
• People who pretend to be friends

A typical day
• Wake up go to school
• Go out or go home after school
• When I go out, I hang our with my friends and meet my not so close friends
• I come home around 6 and do my homework
• When I go home, I straight away do my homework
• Watch a movie or go chat online
• Go to sleep
• In summer break it is much more interesting because I do different things everyday

Family
• Have no money
• My parents always fight
• My dad drinks
• I have a little sister
• We never want night to come because the fighting and drinking could star
• I don’t know my grandparents

My pick:
Friends… I picked friends because “friends” is an important part of my life. Friends really influence the person I am becoming. You can learn a lot from friends because there can be good friends and bad friends.
